Are You In Love?

For this is the message you have heard from the beginning: we should love one another.... - 1 John 3:11

I would like to ask you a very personal question. Are yuo ready?

"Are you in love?" Of course, I am not asking if you are in love with me, your spouse, or a significant "other." I want to know if you are in love with Jesus Christ, and before you tell me to mind my own business, remember that this is the very question that Jesus asked Peter (three times).

You don't even have to give me an answer. Just be assured that Jesus is looking for a sincere "yes." Everything hinges on your answer, everything. In particular, your fellowship with other believers, for if you really love Christ, then you will truly love His Body (the church);and if I may be so bold to add, if you do not love His Body, then your claim to love Jesus is null and void.

We should truly love one another. It has always been the case and it will never change.
