Finding Your Church's "Mission"

Updated: Jun 1

As a former pastor (20 years), missions organization leader (15 years), and field missionary, I have had the blessed opportunity to experience practically every aspect of what is necessary to achieve an effective overseas partnership. There are so many dynamics that enter into these relationships and this complexity, which when combined with our enemy's desire to see such efforts fail, can seriously hamper success.

How do you even measure success?

My hope is to be able to offer some wisdom in these posts, but also give some practical ideas for evaluation and improvement. I also plan to offer coaching in these areas that will allow for more tailored assistance.

After all, the aim is always the same, disciples made and churches formed in locally sustainable ways.

We can reach our world, if we will. The greatest lack today is not people or funds. The greatest need is prayer. - Wesley L Duewel
