Gloriously Different

Look at how great a love the Father has given us, that we should be called God's children. And we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it didn't know Him. - 1 John 3:1

Feeling a little "odd" lately, a little "misunderstood?" Ever feel like you came from another planet or that you just don't fit in?

If you are a Christ-follower, then there is a good reason that you probably feel this way. You really are "odd" and "misunderstood," and it is also true that you do not fit into this world's mold. Where believers sometimes make a mistake is in trying to overcome their spiritual nature and identity. This is called "compromise" and the person who is truly indwelt by the Holy Spirit can never be, will never be, comfortable in such a position.

So, stop trying to fit in. If you are a child of God, then you are gloriously different and "the world" does not know you. It is time to either conform or transform, so get over it and get to it.
