They willfully ignore this: long ago the heavens and the earth existed out of water and through water by the word of God. - 2 Peter 3:5

In the U.S., if you walk into a dark room and flip the switch on the wall, the lights will come on almost every time. I have lived in some African cities where this is also true. While I experienced some power outages, they were not that frequent; however, electricity was not, is not that reliable anywhere else on the continent. We were blessed to have it.
We often take for granted simple things like reliable, consistent electrical power. Unfortunately, many Christ-followers take spiritual power for granted as well. The Bible tells us that God's divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness, but how often do we take Him for granted as the Provider of this blessing. He is always there, always available, but how often have we neglected the very source of life itself?
Oh that I may cease any willful ignorance of the ever-present gift of His divine power, presence, and grace in this life and forever.
Jesus claimed He had the power to raise himself from the dead and His followers would be raised from the dead. That's a unique claim in the literature of religion. - Josh McDowell
