Merry Christmas Now!

Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. - 2 John 3

Okay, I know it isn't December., but many Americans begin celebrating Christmas around Halloween and American advertising would have you believe that Christmas is practically year-round! So, why not write ab out it now? Of course, a huge part of the world does not reveal any evidence of this global holiday. because they are part of another religion (although they put up Christmas trees in Saudi palaces).

I really like the Christmas season, the music, the decorations, the gifts, the good times with family, and most importantly, the celebration of Christ's birth. We spent two years overseas and those were a little sad, because we weren't with our family, but the reason for the season helped us overcome our momentary grief.

You see, Christmas proclaims that Christ is born!

The greatest gift that has ever been given (or received) is the gift of the Savior who came to earth wrapped in truth and love. He is also the gift-giver for He brought the three-fold gift of blessing, forgiveness, and peace. Though Christmas may be very different where you live, my prayer is the same, that above all else it would be about Jesus and that it would never end.
