Nothing New

What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; there is nothing new under the sun. - Ecclesiastes 1:9

"Have you read the last book by (supply name of famous person here)?" Or ...

"Did you go to the last conference with (supply another name here)?"

We live in the information age and sometimes it seems that there is no end to the information! Please forgive me, but at some point, don't we need to stop reading the books and attending the events and begin to actually do something?

Perhaps, the problem with the church isn't a lack of knowledge (unless it is a lack of Bible knowledge). The problem is a lack of obedience. We don't need new ideas. We just need to start obeying the ancient "ideas" (i.e., truth) of our Sovereign.
