Only One "You"

ree

Having served churches in Mississippi, New York, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, I have come to understand just how "unique" a local congregation can be! Of course, for even the most casual Bible student, this should not come as a surprise.

Why?

Spiritual Gifts. At conversion, the Holy Spirit gives each believer a mix of supernatural gifts that is as unique as a fingerprint, and because each human being is also "fearfully and wonderfully made" there is only (and will ever only be) one "you."

So, what does this have to do with a local church seeking to accomplish Christ's global Great Commission? Well, when several unique "you's" gather together in a local assembly (church), then that assembly is also unique! This means that in order to create a partnership that will last, the church should understand the gifting of it's membership, along with it's personality and passion.

Someone once said that when an individual serves according to their spiritual gifts, they will be both fruitful and fulfilled. The same goes for the church. ARM Solutions can help make that happen. Message us to find out more.

Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. - New American Standard Bible, 1995 Edition: Paragraph Version (La Habra, CA: The Lockman Foundation, 1995), 1 Co 12:4–7.
