Everyone who commits sin also breaks the law; sin is the breaking of law. - 1 John 3:4

I am a baseball fan. Many do not like the pace of the game and feel it is too slow for modern tastes, but even in games where scoring is almost nonexistent, there is much to enjoy.
A "perfect game" for a pitcher is when he is able to "retire" every batter that steps up to the plate and the last perfect baseball game was pitched a few years ago, 27 up, 27 down. In fact, in all of major league baseball history this feat has only been accomplished 23 times. Pretty amazing when you consider that men have been playing the game for well over 100 years!
As difficult as it is to pitch a perfect game (any pitcher will tell you that he needs a good team behind him for it to happen), imagine the impossibility of leading a perfect life, no lies, no lust, no greed, no pride, sinless perfection over the course of one's personal history. It is so rare, that in all of human history only one Person has ever accomplished this task. One. Jesus of Nazareth, and while He had a powerful team supporting Him (Father and Holy Spirit), He also possessed within Himself all the power necessary to succeed.
Now, that's perfection and that is why He is the only perfect Savior.
To suppose more than one supreme Source of infinite wisdom, power, and all perfections, is to assert that there is no supreme Being in existence. - Adam Clarke
