The Teacher

The anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you don't need anyone to teach you. Instead, His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie; just as it has taught you, remain in Him. - 1 John 2:27

My mom was a teacher. My brother was a teacher. I have been a pastor-teacher for more than half of my ministerial life. I guess you could say that teaching runs in the family. I even married a teacher!

However, when it comes to spiritual matters, there is really only one Teacher. All others exist to assist Him in His work. He wrote the manual and gives the understanding to read it. He awakens the spirit of the spiritually dead and causes His truth to be implanted for all eternity. He is the Author of spiritual gifting, the One who walks by our side in this world, and the down-payment of our inheritance. He is the Holy Spirit and He is God.
