Wherever You Go

... that life was revealed, and we have seen it and we testify and declare to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us .... - 1 John 1:2

In my life and ministry I have had many opportunities to share my testimony, my God story. In doing so, I speak of faith, family, triumphs, defeats, and tragedy. I also speak of God's guiding presence through it all.

What's your story?

Every once in a while someone will ask me how and when I knew that God had called me into His "vocational" service. The "full-time ministry" part of my personal story with the Lord did not begin until August of 1985. By that time, I was already 27 years old (over 40 years ago). Of course, my original "call" to serve began much earlier, at conversion, and it took some time for me to figure out what that service meant. Now, I don't know how old John (the Apostle) was when he first met Jesus, but I do know (like me) that the encounter changed his life for all eternity. This is why he consistently "testified and declared" the Lord Jesus wherever he went.

Therefore, no matter where you "go" in this world, I certainly hope that your story, however it is written, will be all about the Savior.

I'm a minor player in my own life story. - Tony Wilson
