Where then does wisdom come from? And where is the place of understanding? God understands its way and He knows its place. So He said to man, "Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to turn away from evil is understanding." - Job 28:20, 23, 28

Have you ever been in a place where you thought that maybe, just maybe, you had life all figured out?
My wife and I have been married for over 47 years and our lives have had so many twists, bumps, and turns that we have a permanent case of whiplash. We finally had to admit to one another that most of the time we were pretty much clueless about any specific direction. It was often like we had a compass, but no map, and the "compass" was to seek God's purpose no matter the role, ministry, activity, or location.
In other words, we have learned that finding purpose, God's purpose, is not so difficult once you realize that His purpose always boils down to His glory. All we have ever needed to do is keep running for His glory. Let us all abandon ourselves to His glory, and run with all our might!
Don’t you know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize. - Paul (1 Corinthians 9:24)
