Consider Your Path

Let your eyes look forward; fix your gaze straight ahead. Carefully consider the path for your feet, and all your ways will be established. - Proverbs 4:25-26

How successful are you at maintaining your focus?

Some of us are better at short-term efforts that demand intense concentration (dead-liners) with few variables and others prefer long-term aspirations that allow for more freedom and maneuverability. While we are all susceptible to distractions, short or long-term spiritual goals are often the most difficult to reach.

Our Creator, in His wisdom, has simply wired us all a little differently, yet expects the same commitment to a common aim, an obedience that gives Him glory. So, no matter your "bent," the journey demands your careful attention. Our walk truly matters; therefore, we must watch our step. While all paths for the true follower will surely lead to Christ, it is not necessary to be always stumbling.

Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence. - Henry David Thoreau
