God has made my heart faint; the Almighty has terrified me. Yet I am not destroyed by the darkness, by the thick darkness that covers my face. - Job 23:16-17

Have you ever said, "Honest to God"? Did you mean it when you said it? Of all the characteristics of faith that God desires, perhaps honesty is foremost.
Job's life was a wreck and yet it was all he had left. His family, his riches, his health, all had disappeared and the only consolation that remained (in the presence of an unsupportive wife and critical friends) was a God who seemed distant and unresponsive. Job's "world" had fallen apart and though he may have appeared insolent in his remarks, at least he was honest.
When difficult times arise, there will be those who say you should remain calm and silent.
OK, but God is also not offended when you scream. Just be sure to listen when you're done.
He that loses his honesty has nothing else to lose. - John Lyly
