But I know my living Redeemer, and He will stand on the dust at last. - Job 19:25

Have you ever lost hope? What keeps you from giving up?
Sometimes, it seems to me, hope hides in the darkness of despair. At times like these, what does the Christ-follower do?
Perhaps we should remember these words from Job, "I know my living Redeemer, and He will stand on the dust at last." Write them on a card and put them in a place where you will see them often, or rather write them on your heart so that you will never forget them.
Our Redeemer, our Defender, our God lives! All hope is not lost. Victory is ours in the end. Take hold of your hope and let it lead you out of the darkness of despair into the light of this truth. It is not lost, maybe just a little hidden.
Hope is some extraordinary spiritual grace that God gives us to control our fears, not to oust them. - Vincent McNabb
