Just Know

I have written to you, children, because you have come to know the Father. I have written to you, fathers, because you have come to know the One who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, God's word remains in you, and you have had victory over the evil one. - 1 John 2:14

Three stages of life, three levels of maturity, and three reminders.

Know God. Know His attributes. Know who you are in Him.

The only way to know God is to know His Son, Jesus. The best way to know the attributes of God is through the Word He authored and the indwelling, transforming Holy Spirit. Finally, if you know God in Christ Jesus and remain in His Word (enjoying His attributes), then you will live in the sure understanding that you are His child, strong and victorious over the evil one.

I do my best to follow Christ here in America. You probably follow Him somewhere else. The only difference is geography, for we walk the same spiritual path, if we both follow the Savior.
