Never Shaken

He will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever. - Psalm 112:6

Are you someone who is easily "shaken?" Are you easily upset by what sometimes seem to be "little" things? Maybe it is because your life is dedicated to something other than God and His plan.

For example, if your life is dedicated to your spouse and they are less than you expect or desire, then you will be "shaken" when they aren't able to meet your need. Or, if your life is dedicated to your career and it is not going well (you missed that promotion or lost that important client), then once again you will be "shaken" when things do not go according to plan.

On the other hand, if your life is dedicated to God and His purposes, that is God, who is never shaken, never changes, and never fails, you may be "disrupted" from time to time, but it won't be often, and you will never fall!

Go to the Rock that is Christ. Dedicate your life to His purposes. Wrap your life-roots around Him and then you will stand firm.
