The Spirit of the Antichrist

But every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist; you have heard that he is coming, and he is already in the world now. - 1 John 4:3

Are we in the last days?

I'm fairly certain that if I could somehow post this question in order that the cyber-world might respond, then my inbox would be maxed-out with replies. Honestly, I do not know the answer. I don't even know my own last day, though it is probably wise to live as if it could be today.

The Christ-followers of John's era had certainly heard the end-time prophecies, including the coming of the spirit of antichrist. John even told his readers that this spirit had already arrived. No doubt this spirit is here today. What's more he seems to have found his way into some local churches.

Would you agree? If something or someone disagrees with the Spirit of Christ, then with what or whom do they agree? Perhaps we should begin to call it what it is. The spirit of antichrist is already among us.

It is of no use for any of you to try to be soul-winners if you are not bearing fruit in your own lives. How can you serve the Lord with your lips if you do not serve Him with your lives.?
